Web server

LiteSpeed for the core count the server actually has.

A fast web server is only useful if the license matches the machine. Pick 2, 4, 8, or X cores, or ADC if that is the box in front of the sites.

Prices are on the panel, because the catalog moves. See pricing, then open Dashboard and choose Client Panel to order.

Why this page exists

What people want to know before they order

Resize without a new shop

If you add cores, the license has a core-change step. You are not abandoning the order because the VPS grew.

It pairs with the panel

Most people put LiteSpeed behind cPanel or Plesk. License both, and the install notes stay on each license.

Often licensed together

The rest of the stack

cPanel license

WHM and cPanel, on a VPS or on a dedicated machine. You pick the term, put in the IP, and the license is ready to install from your account.

CloudLinux license

This is the license people add when a machine hosts lots of customers. Each account can be fenced off. TuxCare ELS comes with an active CloudLinux license, after CloudLinux itself is installed.

Plesk license

Same idea as cPanel, different panel. There is a license for a Linux VPS, a Linux dedicated server, and Plesk on Windows. The server should already have Plesk if you are on Windows. The license activates it.

Questions

Straight answers

Which LiteSpeed license should I buy?

Match the core count of the server: 2, 4, 8, or X. Use the ADC license when the product is LiteSpeed ADC rather than the web server.

Can I change LiteSpeed cores later?

The license includes a core-change command. Open the license in the client panel when the server is resized.
